TORONTO — Milwaukee Brewers designated hitter/outfielder Jesse Winker has gone on the 10-day injured list with a cervical strain. The Brewers made the move before opening a three-game series at Toronto on Tuesday. The move is retroactive to Sunday. The 29-year-old Winker is batting .204 with a .315 on-base percentage and .231 slugging percentage in 39 games this season. He has only three extra-base hits and no homers in 127 plate appearances. The Brewers filled Winker's spot on the roster by recalling infielder Abraham Toro from Triple-A Nashville.
