Most people have gone down the rabbit hole that is YouTube—a place filled with how-to tutorials, conspiracy theories and much more. While it's entertaining to watch someone obliterate a cell phone in a blender or puppies and babies snuggling, there is nothing quite like watching an epic fail video. On the flip side, there's also nothing like watching an incredible feat pulled off—a win video.

According to Statista, more than 500 hours of video are uploaded to YouTube alone every single minute of the day. Utah may take up a relatively small portion of those uploads, but that doesn't mean the Beehive State doesn't have its fair share of epic fail—and win—videos. Here are a few of the best.

Pyramid gap

With so much outdoor space, it's a wonder there aren't more fail videos coming out of Utah. This skiing video follows a man jumping off a snow ledge and spinning a few times in the air before you visibly see his ski fall off and go flying through the air. Fortunately, the skier seems to be fine as he dusts himself off and tries again.

It's recommended you watch the video without sound if you're opposed to foul language. Don't worry, you'll still get the full effect.

Jazz bear fail

Ouch! That's gotta hurt.

You can just hear the audience groan before laughing as the gymnastic Jazz mascot accidentally slips on top of the basketball hoop. After shooting off some t-shirts into the crowd, the basketball team's beloved mascot starts getting a little too tricky, losing his footing and falls into a straddle position on the top of the hoop. Before long though, he's back to handstands and sticking his head through the hoop with ease.

Cosmo loses his head

Another great video comes from a few years back when a familiar face lost his head on a flip at a BYU football game. Cosmo the Cougar is mid-air doing an incredible trick when his mascot head went flying. He was quick to hide his real identity from the crowds by ducking behind the mat he landed on. People on the field rushed to help him with his head, but not before someone captured this epic video.

Cosmo's viral win

As entertaining as it is to watch BYU's beloved mascot lose his head in an epic stunt, it's even more satisfying to watch him pull off one of his many incredible performances.

In the video below, you'll see Cosmo with two paws on two different tables. In seconds, he uses his whole body to propel himself off the table and up onto a new—stacked—table above. He does this a few times before pounding out some jumping pushups and flipping through the air back onto the ground.

Teen saves choking friend

"It just felt good to breathe again."

Jackson Johnson knows just how precious fresh air is after choking on his chicken sandwich in the high school lunchroom. The Utah teen was eating lunch like any other day at his high school when something didn't go down right.

He started choking and indicating to his friends that his own efforts weren't working. That's when his friend, Hunter Olsen stepped up and swiftly performed the Heimlich maneuver on Johnson. You can see him try and try again until it works, and the boys all sit back down. He didn't know if it would ultimately work, but Olsen said, "I just thought doing something was better than doing nothing."

Perfect 10

Most Utahns have seen some incredible feats come from the University of Utah's gymnastics team, but few come close to Mykala Skinner's 2017 Pac-12 Championships perfect 10.0 score. Her incredible control throughout the whole routine is evident, and the commentators and judges agreed.

After several incredible years competing in college gymnastics, Skinner went on to perform in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where she won a silver medal for the vault, Jeff Metcalfe reports for USA Today.
