ALMOST MARCH MADNESS — There are bound to be a lot of potential game-winning shots taken in the coming weeks as March Madness gets underway, but Monday's matchup between Weber State and Northern Arizona did not have one, as much as the announcer wanted there to be.

The Lumberjacks were down 3 points to the Wildcats with 2.1 seconds left on their home court, and Liam Lloyd darted up the court to take a game-tying 3-pointer ... except the TV announcer mistakenly said "for the win!" as the ball left Lloyd's hands.

"Bang! I can't believe it! The Lumberjacks have ... the Lumberjacks have tied the game," he said, realizing his initial error.

The over-enthusiastic call made the rounds on social media, with CBS college basketball insider Jon Rothstein altering his typical "This is March" catchphrase to say, "This is ALMOST March."

Well, now it actually is March, and we will surely see plenty of exciting calls worthy of the enthusiasm displayed during the electric end of regulation between Weber State and NAU.

The Wildcats went on to win the game 90-89 over the Lumberjacks in overtime.
