LONDON — Prolific striker Erling Haaland was in the starting lineup for Manchester City in the top-of-the-table match against Arsenal in the Premier League despite picking up an injury in the previous game. Haaland's status for the crucial game at league leader Arsenal had been unclear, with City manager Pep Guardiola saying Tuesday he wasn't sure if the Norway striker would be able to play. Haaland has scored 25 goals in 21 league games this season but was substituted at halftime against Aston Villa on Sunday. Guardiola had described the injury as a "knock." Arsenal was three points ahead of second-place City going into the game, with the Gunners having having played one match less.
