WASHINGTON — Scott Laughton had a goal and an assist and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Washington Capitals, 3-1, on Saturday night. Alex Ovechkin's 30th goal of the season stood as the lone goal for Washington. He is tied with Mike Gartner at 17 for the most 30-goal seasons in NHL history. James van Riemsdyk and Wade Allison scored two goals in 49 seconds in the second period to secure the win for Philadelphia. Carter Hart made 39 saves for his third win in four starts. Darcy Kuemper stopped 22 shots in the loss.
