PARIS — Paris Saint-Germain has reacted with surprise and disappointment after city Mayor Anne Hidalgo said the club's Parc des Princes home is not for sale. It means PSG will not be able to buy its own ground outright. PSG benefits from a long-term lease there but wants to buy its stadium. But Hidalgo has told readers of Paris-based newspaper Le Parisien that this will not happen. Hidalgo says it is "a firm and definitive position" that the stadium won't be sold. PSG responded by saying "it is surprising and disappointing to hear that the mayor of Paris is taking a position" which may force the club to look elsewhere for a new home.
