PGA Tour stays in Hawaii, Europe gets Ryder Cup preview

The PGA Tour stays in Hawaii another week for the Sony Open. Nineteen of the players from Kapalua are playing another week. That includes Jordan Spieth and Tom Kim, along with defending champion Hideki Matsuyama. The European tour gets a soft start with the Hero Cup in Abu Dhabi. It's an unofficial event to help prepare for the Ryder Cup. The 10-man teams represent continental Europe against Britain and Ireland. Tommy Fleetwood of England and Francesco Molinari of Italy are playing captains. A spot in the Masters will be up for grabs at the Latin America Amateur Championship.
