COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Kyle Field is the largest football stadium in Texas, with a seat capacity of nearly 103,000. But it seems like that statistic needs to be updated, since it refers strictly to human spectators.
As you can see in the video below, possums also like rooting for the Aggies.
👀So, this happened Saturday at Kyle Field.

Possums are fairly small and can squeeze into tight spaces, so the amended capacity could easily be something like 102,733 humans and 957,345 possums. But if that many possums were attending each game, I assume that the number of tickets sold to humans would inevitably nosedive.
I wish I knew what preceded this video. My guess is the guy in the grey shirt was sitting in his seat with a big order of nachos. The cheese was still piping hot, so he focused on the football action and waited for it to cool down.
But the plate of nachos mysteriously shrank over the next few minutes. And the guy could hear a munching sound coming from behind his seat. Convinced that someone was stealing his food, the guy pretended to watch the Aggie quarterback throw yet another interception, but in reality, he was waiting for the nacho thief to strike again.
When a small paw reached up for another chip, the guy turned and pounced. And that's how you end up holding a writhing possum by the tail at the Lone Star State's biggest football stadium.
