TREMONTON — One person was killed and another was hospitalized following a motor home crash on I-15 Friday afternoon.

Around 12:55 p.m., a motor home drifted off the road to the right, went down an embankment and struck a ditch, according to the Utah Highway Patrol. The vehicle had been traveling north on I-15 near the Tremonton and Elwood exit.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was taken to a local hospital in fair condition, troopers said.

UHP is investigating whether the driver was experiencing a medical condition prior to the crash.

More information was not immediately available.
