PARIS — Kylian Mbappe added another fine solo goal to his collection and Olivier Giroud moved closer to France's scoring record as the defending World Cup champions beat Austria 2-0 in the Nations League. France already lost its Nations League title but Croatia, the Netherlands and Belgium — also playing their penultimate matches before the World Cup in Qatar — all won to stay in contention for the Nations League's Final Four next June. Croatia leapfrogged Denmark at the top of Group 1 after beating the Danes 2-1. The Netherlands won 2-0 in Poland and Belgium beat Wales 2-1 at home. Earlier, Awer Mabil scored his eighth goal in 29 appearances for Australia and the Socceroos beat New Zealand 1-0.
