SALT LAKE CITY โ€” It's September and the fall sports season is officially here. Enjoy this week's top plays from the opening weekend of college football and more.

5. Easton Hicks' 95-yard game-winning kickoff return for Riverton

Riverton's Easton Hicks returned a kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Springville Friday. It came immediately after Springville tied the game in the fourth quarter, and ended up being the game winner in a 22-15 win.

4. Anderson Julio seals 3-0 win for RSL on a breakaway

Real Salt Lake is in the middle of a gauntlet of Western Conference playoff teams down the stretch of the regular season and Anderson Julio finished off a statement win and big help in the team's goal differential with this goal against Minnesota United FC on Wednesday. The through ball from Andrew Brody creates the opportunity and Julio dribbles past the keeper the open up one of the easier goals he'll ever finish.

1. Puka Nacua opens BYU's season with 75-yard touchdown run

BYU waited through a lengthy weather delay to begin its season against South Florida, and Puka Nacua was ready when it did. The star wide receiver got a handoff from Jaren Hall on the Cougars' first offensive play of the game and sprinted to the edge and then to the end zone to announce the team's 2022 arrival in style.
