THE RESTAURANT — Nothing says date night like a night out at your favorite restaurant with some free entertainment.

While most restaurants opt for things like hosting a trivia night or a local band, one restaurant recently featured a cute baby lifting their hands into the air.

Now this doesn't sound entertaining at all, but just ask the unsuspecting grown-ups in this video if they had a good time. From the sounds of their laughter and the synchronized arm dancing, I'd say they did.

I'm getting deja vu watching this video because the exact same thing happened to my family just a couple weeks ago. We were finishing up our meal, when all of a sudden my dad just randomly lifts his arms over his head with a goofy look on his face.

Turns out a baby sitting behind us took a break from getting food all over herself and the floor to play follow the leader with my dad. For about five minutes, they took turns throwing their arms in the air and giggling.

It was a win-win-win situation. My family got free entertainment. The restaurant offered us a great dining experience without actually doing anything. And the baby's family enjoyed their meal while my dad distracted the baby.

You know how some people just naturally attract small children's attention? That's my dad. He doesn't have to do anything, and babies just love him. This restaurant baby was just one in a long list of random children who can't help but laugh around him.

Sometimes the best things in life are also the simplest.
