THE POOL — I think Ariel has led us astray.

In Disney's "The Little Mermaid," she told us, "Flipping your fins you don't get too far." But this sea lion seems to prove her wrong.

After a long day in the ocean, this sea lion decided it was time for a nice swim in the pool and a quick rest on the cushioned poolside loungers — never mind the fact that a human was using it.

Our sea lion friend made its way up the steps out of the ocean to the pool and then to its lounger with just its flippers! Take that, Ariel.

The sea lion obviously has no qualms about getting close to humans because it just waddles right up to this dude chilling poolside and casually steals his seat. The shocking part is that the man seems quite mad at our cute sea lion. I mean, stealing is technically a crime, but it's not like he can take a sea lion to court.

Maybe I just have a weakness for aquatic animals. A few years ago, while on a family vacation in Florida, I spotted a manatee swimming right by the beach and walked with it for about mile while my family looked on thinking I was a crazy person — they didn't see the manatee. If I was this man, I'd gladly give the sea lion my seat and then sit in the other lounge chair and hang out.
