Day 1

Morning

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel or condo, head over to the Navajo Lodge for coffee and treats from Elevated Sips + Sweets! This cute little coffee shop can be found on the main floor of the lodge and offers a variety of flavor combinations you're sure to love.

With incredible high elevation views all around, hitting the trails throughout and around Brian Head is a must! Whether you have gear of your own or need to rent some, these trails are ready to show off the wonders of southern Utah. You can choose a trail that keeps you closer to town from the Brian Head Town Trails map or embark on a little high adventure with a snowshoe hike into Cedar Breaks National Monument.

For a unique winter view of Cedar Breaks National Monument, check out the Cedar Breaks Rim Trail. (Highlighted in pink on the linked map) This is a long trail but it can be shortened as needed and it is well worth the views!

Before heading out on the trail be sure to check weather conditions and snowpack.

Afternoon

That lengthy hike to beautiful views is sure to help you work up an appetite. Stop by Pizanos Pizzeria at the Brian Head Mall to refuel with incredible pasta, custom pizzas, or giant calzones. And don't forget a drink! Pizanos offers a wide drink menu including craft beers and familiar favorites.

After finishing your meal it's time to take time to relax with a visit to the Day Spa at Cedar Breaks Lodge. Sit back and enjoy a soothing massage, face and body treatment, or an aromatherapy bath.

Evening

Make sure to bundle up and dress appropriately for cold weather. Did you know that Cedar Breaks National Monument is an international dark sky park? A 6-minute drive from Brian Head Resort, the northern overlook at Cedar Breaks offers some views that are truly out of this world. Download a constellation map, bring hot chocolate, and take in the unbelievable views. Many nighttime visitors to Cedar Breaks get to see more stars than they've ever seen in their lives… even when the moon is out!

Day 2

Morning

We're starting day two of our weekend with a trip to the Parowan Gap Petroglyphs. Take Hwy 143 to Parowan. The "Mother Town" of southern Utah, Parowan is a picture-perfect small town. While you're there stop at Mama Layne's Bakery to pick up a world-famous cinnamon roll! After enjoying your cinnamon roll, continue north on Main Street to 400 North, turn west and drive under the interstate and continue west for 10.5 miles. With over 90 panels and 1,500 figures, the Gap is believed to be one of the most concentrated collections of petroglyphs in the west and one of the most accessible.

Afternoon

Back in Brian Head grab lunch that's bursting with flavor from Sook Jai Thai Cuisine, and check out the new ice rink, Brain Head Ice! Enjoy the charming atmosphere of the outdoor rink as you glide around pine trees integrated into the design. And don't worry about bringing skates, they've got you covered. Rentals are available for $3 and tickets can be reserved online ahead of time.

Evening

It's hard to visit a ski resort and resist hitting the slopes at all, so why not throw in an extra dose of fun with night skiing? Ski beneath a sky teeming with stars at 10,000 feet on the Giant Steps side of the mountain. With the Greatest Snow on Earth® and Utah's highest base elevation, you can ski among the classic southern Utah red rocks on their 71 runs and two connected mountains! Even on the lift ride up the slope, you're treated to beautiful red rock views all around.

Night skiing is available Friday and Saturday between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Day 3

Morning
