THE FRONT PORCH — As a father, I am a big fan of the dad joke. The harder the eyes roll, the better. That's why I'm really excited to tell you the joke I have constructed to accompany this video. Here we go.
Me: Knock knock.
You: Who's there?
Me: Tire.
You: Tired who?
Me: I'm tired of waiting for you to open the door.
You: *starts the video*
Me: *patiently waits*
You: *finishes video*
Me: *rubs palms together*
You: *massive eye roll*
That was totally worth it and this video is pretty incredible. I'm not entirely sure what vehicle this tire came off of, but it came up to that front door like it had something to prove. These are the reasons I believe front door cameras were built. I think the "stopping crime" thing was a happy accident, but the main reason is because someone out there knew we'd get awesome videos like this.
It's a bit jarring to watch that tire come screaming up and hit the door with incredible force. I jumped a little to be honest. Then the doorbell rang and I lost it. I was laughing at my computer screen for longer than I'd like to admit. I just imagine the homeowner gingerly walking to the door to see who is there only to find the front porch beat up, a smoking tire on the lawn and not a soul to be found.
Happy no one was hurt and hopefully the damage wasn't too bad, because I really love this video and the terrible jokes it offers.
