A nationwide poll of doctors has revealed that 74 percent believe miracles have occurred in the past and 73 percent believe they can occur today.
It also indicates that American physicians are considerably religious, with 72 percent saying they believe religion provides a reliable and necessary guide to life. The survey, by the Finkelstein Institute of the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City and HCD Research, quizzed 1,100 doctors from a variety of faiths. Bill Hoffmann
