For those who don't honor the dead at the cemetary, there are now online guest books - including one at legacy.com - that honors the victims of the September 11th attacks.
There are actually almost 200,000 guest book entries on the site right now, says Chief Marketing Officer John Bicus. "It's really a tremendous outlet for them. It's a way for them to heal, it's a way for them to express."
Legacy.com's server actually crashed on the first anniversary of 9/11 because of web traffic. They're expecting a high number of postings again for the fifth anniversary of the attacks.
