LOS ANGELES, Sep 4, 2006 (UPI via COMTEX) -- Rosie O'Donnell has yet to join U.S. TV's "The View," but the Hollywood comedienne has already made waves with her future co-host, Barbara Walters.
Newsweek reported that while the controversial actress will officially begin her year tenure on the popular TV talk show Tuesday, her recent blog entries on her personal Web site have drawn criticism from Walters.
O'Donnell had recently complained on Rosie.com that her experience creating a TV promotion for her upcoming stint on the series had left her feeling powerless, and her blog additions immediately drew a reaction from Walters.
"I'm counting on Rosie's intelligence and sensitivity and humor," said the legendary TV host. "This is, after all, an entertainment show. It is based on people who like each other and are having a good time, not on people who are arguing and unhappy."
The New York Post said prior to this recent off-set gaffe, O'Donnell had made headlines for her less than cordial comments regarding TV hosts Star Jones and Oprah Winfrey.
