SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are asking the public’s help in finding a man accused of aggravated robbery, officials said on Wednesday.
The man is accused of robbing an individual near the China Town Shopping Center, located 3390 South State Street, between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. on June 18.
The man allegedly asked the victim for gas money and when they said no, the man showed a knife and took the victim’s wallet, police said.
The man suspected in the robbery is Hispanic, is approximately 5-foot-10-inches. He is bald, has a full beard and spoke Spanish to the victim.
He was last seen driving a gray SUV or van, police said.
