SALT LAKE CITY — Police seek the public’s help in finding a missing teenager and toddler on Friday afternoon.

Eugenia Martinez-Juarez, 17, and her daughter Sandra Juarez-Martinez, 3, were last seen on Thursday after leaving from the area of 200 S. Pueblo St. and not returning, Salt Lake City police said.

Eugenia was last seen wearing a grey jacket and pants and pink and grey shoes.

Salt Lake City police said the pair left on-foot to go job searching for Eugenia. She was last seen walking with her 3-year-old daughter at 2 p.m. on Thursday.

Since there is no car to look for and because they were reported missing about 24 hours later, police said they don't have a lot of leads and are relying on the public to help find them.

“In this case, we really do need the community’s help to try and locate these individuals,” Salt Lake City police detective Michael Ruff said.

Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to call 801-799-3000.
