New York (dpa) - Justine Henin-Hardenne advanced convincingly into the her fourth Grand Slam quarter-final of the season Monday, dropping just one game as she crushed Shahar Peer of Israel at the US Open.
The second-seeded Belgian who lifted a third French Open title in June, has advanced into the last eight with the loss of just 14 games, an average of just over three per match.
The winner needed a mere 50 minutes, striking 21 winners and breaking five times.
Part-time Israeli soldier Peer, was victim of 20 unforced errors and managed only five winners.
