After a Big 12-record 23-game winning streak, the Bears lost for the second time in three games when they fell 75-72 at TCU on Saturday. Desmond Bane scored 23 points for TCU, including eight straight after the game was tied for the final time. That was part of a bigger 18-1 run for the Horned Frogs. The 25-3 Bears were the nation's No. 1 team when they lost a week ago to now-No.1 Kansas. The Jayhawks are a game ahead of them in the league standings after beating Kansas State on Saturday.

MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) — Devon Dotson scored 25 points to help top-ranked Kansas absorb the loss of center Udoka Azubuike for long stretches of the game, and the cold-shooting Jayhawks held on to beat Kansas State 62-58 on Saturday. MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) — Kristian Doolittle scored 19 points two days after surgery to repair a broken nose and Oklahoma boosted its NCAA Tournament hopes with a 73-62 victory over No. 20 West Virginia on Saturday. Oklahoma built a 21-point lead in the second half and cruised from there to complete a regular-season sweep of the reeling Mountaineers. Brady Manek added 15 points, Austin Reaves had 13 and Jamal Bieniemy 11 points for the Sooners. They broke a six-game road losing streak. Miles McBride came off the bench to score 13 points for West Virginia, and Oscar Tshiebwe had nine points and 10 rebounds. The Mountaineers have lost six of seven.

LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — The Texas Longhorns are making a late push for an NCAA Tournament berth. Texas improved to 18-11 overall and 8-8 in the Big 12. The Red Raiders, the Big 12 co-champion last season when they made it to the NCAA championship game, is also 18-11 after its second loss in a row. Jahim'us Ramsey had 13 points to lead Tech, but missed a dunk in the final minute that Texas turned into a breakaway layup.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Cameron McGriff scored 19 points and had seven rebounds to help lead Oklahoma State to a 73-61 victory over Iowa State. Thomas Dziagwa scored 14 points and Lindy Waters had 10 points and six assists for Oklahoma State, as the seniors showed up on Senior Day. Rasir Bolton scored 16 points to lead Iowa State, while also adding six rebounds and four assists. Michael Jacobson had 13 points and four rebounds. Oklahoma State entered the second half with a 36-29 lead and maintained at least a six-point advantage the entire rest of the way, never allowing Iowa State to get more than four points in a row in the half.

UNDATED (AP) — The NCAA football rules committee is proposing that players ejected from a game for targeting be permitted to remain in the bench area and to cap replay reviews at two minutes. After several days of meetings in Indianapolis, the committee also recommended requiring game officials to be on the field 90 minutes before a contest begins _ instead of 60 minutes _ to crack down on pregame dust-ups between teams. The committee also talked about the growing trend of defensive players faking injuries to slow down up-tempo offenses. Legislating against it is difficult and for now the plan is to appeal to coaches to stop using a tactic that Stanford coach David Shaw says lacks integrity.
