Winter weather expected to hit Utah at end of President’s Day weekend

SALT LAKE CITY — Snow is expected along the Wasatch Front starting Sunday and continuing into Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service Salt Lake City.

Sunshine is expected in southern Utah and cloudiness is expected in northern Utah on Saturday, according to KSL Meteorologist Kevin Eubank.

Experts predict about 8 to 15 inches of snow will fall in the mountains starting on Sunday morning. In the valleys south of Brigham City, 2 inches of snow is expected with higher amounts on the benches.
