THE STREETS OF BATUU — There’s nothing worse than having your dreams crushed by a character from one of your favorite franchises, in what should be "the most magical place on Earth."
But that’s exactly what happened to one man at Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge this holiday.
In a galaxy far, far away, on the streets of Batuu, one brave warrior stands ready to face the First Order’s Supreme Leader Kylo Ren and his stormtroopers, trusted lightsaber in hand. Ren’s hand gravitates to his own saber, the stormtrooper’s gun is ready, and engagement looks imminent.
But, as this video shows, the encounter doesn’t go as this warrior hoped.

“If there’s one Jedi left, it’s not you.”
Who said stormtroopers never hit anything? This man's childhood just received a one-shot kill. The First Order is victorious, the dark side has triumphed — and I can’t stop laughing. As the tweet caption suggests, this man was burned worse than the shattered remains of Alderaan.
The man’s crestfallen reaction, as he has no choice but to accept his murder, is punctuated by a black-and-white image effect and the honorary funerary hymn of the Jedi — the Star Wars Main Theme on the recorder.
Rest in peace, good warrior. We hope this is not the origin story for your turn to the dark side.
