SCHWARZENEGGER, HAMILTON: “TERMINATOR” SOCIETY IS HERE

LONDON (AP) _ The stars of the film “Terminator: Dark Fate” believe society is not that far from what was once just a story.

Arnold Schwarzenegger says the original 1984 “Terminator” film was science fiction, but all the things they discussed then are a reality, with the exception that machines are not yet self-aware.

Linda Hamilton says society has created a world of convenience, where people do not even have to stand up to turn off the lights. She says because people don’t have to do things for themselves, “it’s going to catch up with us” and “it’s not going to be pretty.”

“Terminator: Dark Fate” is in theaters now.
