WILLARD BASIN — A 57-year-old Ogden man died this week in a UTV accident, authorities said Thursday.

Brent Daily was last seen about 8 a.m. Tuesday and reported missing Wednesday about 2:15 p.m., according to a news release from the Box Elder County Sheriff's Office. His body was found about 5 p.m. in the Willard Basin area.

Daily's pickup truck and trailer were found in the area of Liberty in Weber County and he was known to go riding in the mountains above Liberty and Avon, sheriff’s officials said.

Search and rescue units from Box Elder, Weber and Cache counties were dispatched in the search, as well as a Utah Department of Safety helicopter.

Deputies had learned that Daily had a medical condition that required “much-needed medication.” Officials don’t know if he suffered a medical issue that caused the accident or if the crash killed him.

Daily’s remains were transported to the Utah State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine his exact cause of death, officials said.
