UNDATED (AP) — Alabama's dominance ranks among the most impressive dynasties in college football history. It has also made the Southeastern Conference a bit stale recently as the league's 14 teams gather for their annual media days this week in Hoover, Alabama. A group of talented quarterbacks might make the SEC a bit more interesting this fall. Georgia's Jake Fromm, LSU's Joe Burrow and Texas A&M's Kellen Mond are among the standouts.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kentucky athletic director Mitch Barnhart has been selected to lead the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee. It was announced Barnhart would work with Duke athletic director and committee chair Kevin White during the upcoming season before succeeding him for the next season. The NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Committee is in charge of selecting, seeding and bracketing schools each year for the NCAA Tournament.
