DRAPER — A man is in critical condition after his truck crashed into trees Thursday, police say.
About 4 p.m. the driver, who police said is around the age of 50, veered left off the road at 12100 S. 700 East, crossed lane traffic into a field and crashed into trees on the side of a residential home, according to Draper Police Sgt. Scott Adams.
The man was flown in critical condition to a hospital via medical helicopter, Adams said. No other injuries were reported, police said.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Police don’t suspect alcohol was involved but speculate the crash occurred because of a medical incident, Adams said.
