ATHENS, Ga. (AP) — Being a college football official has never been more difficult. Those who do it face relentless criticism and attacks on their credibility. The Southeastern Conference is exploring ways to publicly push back. Veteran official Tom Quick says he and others don't like the criticism but the big reason for stepping away is the time commitment it takes.
