Mr. Jepperson was nominated by several students to receive this award, many of them submitting on the same day! One paragraph from each submission is included below.

"Todd Jepperson is the best English teacher you will ever meet. He can get his students interested in school work and helps all of his students with their personal problems, including mine. Mr. Jepperson never gives up on his students and he is the nicest teacher in the world. He will do anything to help his students and he is the most amazing person ever. Mr. Jepperson defiantly deserves this award," said Brooke Hendrickson.

"The way that he teaches is amazing. He uses pictures and explanations to help us to understand what he is trying to say. He also tells us stories that may not seem like they have anything to do with what he is teaching us but he always seems to tie the story in to the lesson in some way. He tells us jokes that help us to remember the concept of the lesson. The stories also help us to remember. He walks around the room which helps us to maintain focus on him and not any other distractions. His loud speaking voice also helps us to pay attention... it helps us to talk with our classmates and get to know them as people and how their strengths are different from our own along with their weaknesses. Tod Jepperson is a great teacher that helps us to know more about what we need to learn and he does it in a way that is fun, creative, and unique," said Karly Harding.

"Mr. Jepperson clearly deserves this award! He is by far my favorite teacher I have ever had. Jeppy understands us seventh graders, he's gotten to know us well enough that he knows our intrests and attitudes," said Mary Shaw.

"hen we write an essay in his class, he looks at what we could improve on the most and how he can help us. For each of us it is different, and he spends countless hours of his own time trying to help us reach our potential. He pushes us to make our weak things stronger and our strengths even stronger," said Makenzi Jennings.

"Mr. Jepperson is the best teacher i have ever known. Most of what he does, is for the kids. He individually meets with every one of his students to help them succeed, prosper and break past there talent ceiling," said Aaron Blackham.

"Mr. Jepperson deserves this award because of how much he cares about all of his students. He helps out with LIA (Latinos In Action), Yearbook, and a few English classes. Mr. Jepperson is super funny and is so cool. He buys specific books for students and recommends things for them to read. He is really supportive of our decisions and tries to guide us in the right direction," said Emma Hall.

"Mr. Jepperson is an english teacher at my school, and he is darn good. He makes the lessons entertaining, and no one gets off track in his class. He gives us examples from his life to show us how the skills we are learning are fundamental in real life," said Brielle Giles.

"He loves to get to know us. I can definitely say that he's one of the only teacher here that does this. He always cares about how we feel and always helps us when we need it. Everyone that goes to his class loves it. He is so kind to everyone even if they were never in his class," said Tavia Charles.

"He helps everyone with their problems and deserves more. He’s also a funny guy who can make anyone laugh. We all joke around with him and he’s so cool! I think he deserves a feature," said Victoria Sosa.
