SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Federal agents have arrested an adult film actress from Idaho on charges she tried to hire someone to kill a person.
Arrested Wednesday was 31-year-old Katrina L. Danforth, who makes films under the name Lynn Pleasant.
The Spokesman-Review says she was arrested at Spokane International Airport and booked into the Spokane County Jail based on an indictment handed down Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Idaho.
Danforth, from Post Falls, Idaho, is charged with five counts of using interstate commerce in the commission of murder for hire.
The intended victim has not been named.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Traci Whelan says the intended target, who lives in Idaho, was not harmed.
Whelan said she could not provide details on the crime or the victim.
