JACKSONVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Jason Burnell had 19 points, seven rebounds and three assists to help Jacksonville State beat Carver Bible College 101-61 on Wednesday.

De'Torrion Ware added 16 points for the Gamecocks (3-3), who won their third straight after claiming the Cancun Challenge Mayan Division title last week. Detrick Mostella and Jamall Gregory each scored 12 and Derek St. Hilaire had 11.

Jacksonville State led 45-27 at the half, led by Burnell's 11 points and six rebounds. The last time JSU scored 100 points in a game was Nov. 10, 2017 against Tennessee Wesleyan.

Rayford Washington made four 3-pointers and scored 18 points for the Cougars, a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). Tyler Thornton added 11 points and Paul Hepburn had four blocks. The Cougars were held to 36-percent shooting, but made 10 of 26 from distance.
