LOS ANGELES (AP) — Kris Wilkes scored a career-high 27 points, Moses Brown had a double-double in his collegiate debut and No. 21 UCLA routed Fort Wayne 96-71 to open its 100th season of basketball. The 7-foot-1 Brown made an impact with 19 points and 17 rebounds.

TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Freshman Luguentz Dort had 28 points and eight rebounds, helping Arizona State outlast Cal State Fullerton 102-94 in double overtime in both teams' season opener. Dort was 1 for 7 from the floor in the first half, but came alive after halftime, making 8 of 15 shots. He scored on a three-point play off a putback with 2 minutes left in the second overtime to put Arizona State up 95-89.

SEATTLE (AP) — Noah Dickerson scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half, Jaylen Nowell added 17, and No. 25 Washington rallied from a nine-point halftime deficit to beat Western Kentucky 73-55. Ranked in the preseason for the first time since 2011, the Huskies (1-0) slogged through an ugly first half of foul trouble and poor shooting, and leaned heavily on Dickerson to put away the Hilltoppers in the second half.

EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Payton Pritchard scored 22 points while Paul White added 15 and No. 14 Oregon opened its season by routing Portland State 84-57 victory. Pritchard, the only player remaining from the Ducks' 2017 Final Four team, had 18 points by halftime as Oregon led 45-29.

STANFORD, Calif. (AP) — KZ Okpala scored a career-high 29 points and Stanford opened the season with an 96-74 victory over Seattle on Tuesday night. Freshman Cormac Ryan scored 13 of his 16 points, including four of his five 3-pointers, in the second half for the Cardinal, who improved to 6-0 all-time against the Redhawks.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Shaqquan Aaron scored 20 points, Nick Rakocevic had 18 points and 16 rebounds and USC opened its season with an 83-62 over Robert Morris in the season opener for both teams. The Trojans led 37-35 at halftime but were trailing by four with 12:19 remaining before going on an 18-4 run to seize control.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) — Sabrina Ionescu picked up her 11th triple-double, Satou Sabally scored 23 points and No. 3 Oregon opened the season with a 115-36 win over Alaska. Ionescu had 18 points, 12 assists and 11 rebounds.

BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) — Kristine Anigwe had 37 points and 13 rebounds and the No. 24 California women survived a late rally for an 80-79 season-opening victory over Houston. The Golden Bears led 78-71 on Asha Thomas' pair of free throws with 58 seconds left.
