QUACKING AROUND — Football's back.
But first, let's take a look at another brand of football.
As always, click the video above for all of the Great Clips of the Week.
Puddles on the Pitch
There were a lot of stars at Rio Tinto Stadium last Saturday night, when Real Salt Lake hosted the L.A. Galaxy.
First and foremost, there was Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the Swedish soccer legend who signed with the Galaxy this summer and has taken Major League Soccer by storm.
Los Angeles also brought returning U.S. international midfielder Perry Kitchen, Mexican international Jonathan dos Santos, and Servando Carrasco — better known because of his wife, U.S. starlet Alex Morgan.
RSL dispatched them all with a 6-2 rout that included a hat trick from rising star Damir Kreilach and two goals and two assists from team leader Albert Rusnak.
Each of these stars was upstaged, however … by a duck.

That feisty little fowl interrupted play for several minutes while Rio Tinto grounds crewmen tried to force the duck off the grass. Even Joao Plata and Albert Rusnak tried to expedite the duck’s passport from the vicinity.
In the end, the duck was captured — and released back into the wild, the grounds crew reports.
No other wildlife was harmed during the 6-2 win — except for maybe the pride of the Galaxy’s Cozmo.
The next step is naming every RSL fan's favorite fowl friend. "Albert Rusquack" has been tossed around recently, but we kind of like "Brian Duckseth" or "Kyle Duckerman."
Been off Twitter all day. Does the #RSLDuck have a name yet?

College football’s back
Did New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. go back to college?
And if he did, why did he choose a school in Lubbock, Texas?
In the first five minutes of Texas Tech’s season opener Saturday against Ole Miss, wide receiver TJ Vasher made a highlight-reel catch that will be tough to top all season (though we are here for anyone who wants to try).
Vasher bent backward and grabbed a ball out of midair in full extension against an Ole Miss defensive back, mirroring the play that made Beckham an NFL icon against the Cowboys in 2015.

If that’s Week 1, we can’t wait to see what Week 2 has in store.
Stay tuned.
Cinco touchdowns
Football may be restarting in college, and the NFL is only a week away.
But the high school football season is in full swing with the conclusion of Week 3 of the Utah High School Activities Association season.
And the highlights keep churning — including at KSL TV’s Game of the Week at Cottonwood, where visiting Kearns hammered the Colts, 52-0.
If you don't know the name Isaiah Afatasi, you do now. He had 🖐 touchdowns for @KearnsHS tonight ... in the first half.

Of course, if you take out Kearns breakout star Isaiah Afatasi, the score would’ve been much closer. Afatasi scored five touchdowns — all in the first half — to pave the way for a Cougars side that scored five rushing touchdowns, a 69-yard punt return, and a 45-yard pick-six.
Afatasi’s performance was good enough to earn KSL Sports' Primetime Performer for Week 3 of the season, thanks to a panel of voters that included the prestigious Twitter followers of the program.
Which play do you pick?
