SALT LAKE CITY — BYU knocked off Arizona on the road Saturday, helping its fanbase earn the top spot in Week 1 of KSL College Football Pick'em.

The fanbase correctly picked 70 percent of its games, scoring an average of 24.8 points per game. Utah State fans came in second, with 60 percent of picks correct and a 21.0-point average. Utah, a fanbase that leaned heavily on the Pac-12 in the Washington vs. Auburn and BYU vs. Arizona games, came in last with only 58 percent of correct picks and a 20.2 average.

Two games out of the possible five this week were not majority favorites, with Auburn only receiving 41 percent of the picks and BYU at only 27 percent.

BYU fans also took two out of the top three spots in the weekly leaderboard, with David Peterson taking first and Kyle Whitehead taking third. Utah fan Alan Myers finished second. The weekly winners will receive a $100, $75, or $50 VISA gift card courtesy of the Karl Malone Auto Group.

Below are the results from Week 1, including the updated leaderboard from the KSL Sports group.
