WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — Monmouth University has named former Hawk Josh James as director of basketball operations.
Coach King Rice announced the hiring of the recent graduate on Thursday. James becomes the first player to join Rice's staff after playing for him.
James was a two-year captain for Monmouth, starting 70 of 111 games from 2013-17.
