TURIN, Italy (AP) — Joao Cancelo, who was left out of Portugal's World Cup squad, has left Valencia for Juventus for a fee of 40.4 million euros ($46.7 million).
The 24-year-old Portugal right-back, who has signed a five-year deal with the Serie A champion, spent last season on loan at Inter Milan.
Juve, which has won seven successive Serie A titles, sold right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner to Arsenal earlier this month.
Cancelo started his career with Benfica before joining Spanish top-flight side Valencia in 2014.
