MADRID (AP) — Three-time MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo will move from Ducati to Honda next season.

Lorenzo will replace Dani Pedrosa, who is leaving the team after 13 seasons.

The 31-year-old Lorenzo won his three world titles with Yamaha in 2010, 2012 and 2015.

He joined Ducati in 2017, earning his first win with the team last weekend in Italy to break his longest winless streak in MotoGP.

Honda said Wednesday that Lorenzo has a two-year contract.

Four-time MotoGP champion Marc Marquez is the team's other rider.
