CALDWELL, Idaho (AP) — Authorities in southwestern Idaho say a shooting that resulted in the deaths of two people was a murder-suicide.
The Canyon County Sheriff's Office says 37-year-old Ian Stone on Monday shot 29-year-old Jaclyn Zabel before turning the gun on himself at a home west of Caldwell.
Zabel died of her injuries Tuesday morning in a Boise hospital, and Stone died later that night.
Authorities have described the shooting at a domestic violence event.
