INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — USA Football has hired Mike Krueger as director of coaching.
Krueger joins USA Football after four years as district athletic director at Aurora (Colorado) Public Schools.
He will be responsible for several USA Football projects, including adapting the U.S. Olympic Committee's American Development Model for football. Krueger also will be involved with USA Football's medical and football advisory committees and coaching education initiatives.
USA Football is the sport's national governing body and trains more high school and youth football coaches combined than any organization in the country.
USA Football CEO Scott Hallenbeck says of Krueger: "Mike is recognized as one of the country's finest high school athletic directors and brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to the high school and grass-roots football family."
