BEREA, Ohio (AP) — The Browns will again pick first on Day 2 of the NFL draft.
Cleveland has the No. 33 overall pick, a selection at the top of the second round that has traditionally drawn strong interest for trades. General manager John Dorsey's phone could be active overnight before the Browns are back on the clock Friday night with the first of their three second-round picks.
The Browns also have the No. 35 pick, which they acquired from Houston last year in the trade for quarterback Brock Osweiler, and No. 64, which they got from Philadelphia in 2016.
Following the retirement of Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas, the Browns could be in the market for an offensive lineman and Dorsey would also like to add a running back or wide receiver.
Cleveland opened the draft Thursday by picking Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield, who broke down in tears when Dorsey called him.
