NEW YORK (AP) — Enticed took the lead at the sixteenth pole and went on to a 2 3/4-length victory in the $300,000 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct.

Ridden by Junior Alvarado, Enticed ran one mile in 1:38.24 and paid $8.80, $5.40 and $3.60 at 3-1 odds Saturday for trainer Kiaran McLaughlin.

The 3-year-old dark brown colt earned 50 points in the qualifying system for the Kentucky Derby, moving him into second place on the leaderboard with 63 total points.

Old Time Revival returned $28.80 and $9 at 35-1 odds, while Free Drop Billy paid $3 to show as the 9-5 favorite.

Firenze Fire was fourth, followed by Whereshetoldmetogo, Cove Blue, Nine Route, Beautiful Shot and Dial Operator.

The victory was Enticed's second in a graded stakes after he won the Kentucky Jockey Club at Keeneland.
