SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Jazz players are having fun off the court trolling each other with throwback pictures of one another on their Instagram stories.

Joe Ingles trolled Ricky Rubio with two pictures, including one personal modeling-type photo of Rubio.

Rubio clapped back at Ingles with two pictures of his own: one of those pictures was poking fun of the resemblance Ingles has to Toby Flenderson, a character from the hit show “The Office.”

Royce O’Neale got into the action by posting throwback pictures of Donovan Mitchell and getting back at Rubio.

And of course, Mitchell took part in all the trolling by getting back at O’Neale and getting Rudy Gobert in the mix by posting a sleeping picture of him.

Gobert didn’t contribute any pictures to the throwback battle but did post on his story saying, “Rooks are getting a little too comfortable,” in response to the jokes on the social media platform.

When asked at the Jazz shootaround Monday he said, “It’s on us to fix that.”

Could Gobert be foreshadowing he has something in store for the rookies?

When asked, Gobert chuckled as he responded, “I don’t know we’ll see.”

Since the throwback war Sunday night Mitchell has continued the jokes on Rubio and Gobert on his Instagram story.

Who will win this battle? Stay tuned to the Jazz players Instagram accounts to see how the rest of this war pans out and if the veteran players have some retaliation coming for the rookies.
