SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Authorities believe they have recovered the body of a retired forester more than two weeks after he reportedly disappeared in Lake Coeur d'Alene.
The Spokesman-Review reports Kootenai County Sheriff's Office personnel discovered what they believe to be Larry Isenberg's body in the lake near Worley, Idaho, on Thursday afternoon.
Isenberg's wife, Lori Isenberg, told the sheriff's office that her husband fell from their boat into the frigid lake Feb. 13.
Official identification will follow an autopsy, which will be conducted by the Spokane Medical Examiner's Office with the Kootenai County Coroner's Office.
Lori Isenberg, who was arrested Monday for allegedly embezzling nearly $500,000 from her former job, said she looked for her husband for two hours near Powderhorn Bay before she could call for help.
