GREENSBORO, N.C. (AP) — Davaris McGowens scored 17 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and North Carolina A&T defeated Howard 83-69 on Saturday.
Denzel Keyes and Devonte Boykins each scored 18 for North Carolina A&T (16-11, 9-3) which ended a two-game losing streak for the Aggies who are tied for second in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference with Bethune-Cookman. Kameron Langley added 11 points for the Aggies.
RJ Cole led Howard (8-20, 5-7) with 21 points, Dalique Mingo scored 18 and Charles Williams 11. The Bison have lost three of their last four games following a four-game winning streak.
