SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Gary Chivichyan set career highs with eight 3-pointers and 25 points, Jared Stutzman had four 3s and 20 points, including the go-ahead jumper with 41 seconds left, and Idaho State beat Sacramento State 67-60 on Thursday night.

After 18 lead changes and seven ties, Bryce Fowler's jumper capped an 8-0 run and the Hornets led 65-64 with 1:16 left. Stutzman hit his jumper after an ISU timeout and the Hornets turned it over before Brandon Boyd hit two free throws.

Novak Topalovic scored 13 points for the Bengals (12-12, 7-6 Big Sky Conference), who were outrebounded 38-24 and outscored 34-16 in the paint but made 12 of 23 3-pointers (52 percent).

Justin Strings scored 24 points and Joshua Patton added 20 with nine boards for the Hornets (6-20, 3-10), who have lost five straight.
