FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Kason Harrell scored 20 points and Fort Wayne rolled past Western Illinois 90-74 on Wednesday night.

Harrell was 8 of 15 from the field, including three from distance, and had five steals for the Mastodons (17-12, 6-6 Summit League), who are third in the conference standings. John Konchar added 19 points, eight rebounds, six assists and five blocks. Bryson Scott also scored 19, Xzavier Taylor had 11 points and nine rebounds and Jordon King added 10 points.

The Mastodons scored first and led all the way, taking a 25-11 lead on a King 3-pointer midway and building to a 45-31 advantage at the break.

Western Illinois cut it to 60-53 with 11:57 to play but the Mastodons pulled away after that on 3-pointers by Konchar, King and Jax Levitch.

Isaac Johnson scored 23 points with five rebounds for the Leathernecks (11-13, 2-9). Kobe Webster added 21 points.
