WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Caleb Green scored 18 points and Holy Cross edged Army 70-65 on Wednesday night.

Green was 4 of 5 from beyond the arc for the Crusaders (10-16, 7-8 Patriot League) who have won three of the last four. Austin Butler added 13 points and Jacob Grandison and Connor Niego had 10 points apiece. Grandison led the team with seven rebounds.

Green sank back-to-back 3-pointers early to give the Crusaders the lead and they held it on their way to a 38-30 advantage at intermission.

Jordan Fox drained a pair of free throws late in the second half to give Army a 65-64 edge with 56 seconds remaining but Patrick Benzan answered with a layup to put the Crusaders back on top and Butler made another to make it 68-65 with 12 seconds left. Fox missed a 3-point attempt with three seconds to go and Holy Cross held on for the win.

Matthew Wilson led the Black Knights (13-13, 6-9) with 16 points off the bench and six rebounds.
