KSL, RSL to partner in digital streaming of games, ticket sales

SALT LAKE CITY — Real Salt Lake and KSL have entered into a digital streaming partnership to feature more than 200 hours of live games.

The streaming partnership will include games for RSL, Utah Royals FC and Real Monarchs, as well as a handful of select RSL Academy home games. The games will be streamed on and the KSL TV app on your smartphone or tablet. The first game to be streamed will be the MLS opener on Saturday, March 3 as RSL will take on FC Dallas at 5:30 p.m.

As part of the partnership, every Tuesday throughout the 2018 season there will be a magazine features show called “OnFrame,” which will debut on Feb. 27. Additionally, a weekly “Mike Petke Show,” hosted by Brian Dunseth will be streamed. All RSL games will also feature 30-minute pre-game and post-game shows.

“This is all about the fans, who can watch RSL on-the-go wherever they choose,” RSL owner Dell Loy Hansen said. “Technology is rapidly developing, and we believe that KSL TV has created a best-in-class app experience for both live and on-demand content, which will deepen our fans’ accessibility and connection across the globe.”

Additionally, will serve as the primary ticketing system for RSL and Utah Royals FC games. Tickets can be purchased at or via the classified section of the website.

“In our home region, KSL has long clearly established itself as the largest classifieds marketplace,” said RSL Chief Business Officer Andy Carroll. “Millions of monthly visits from Utah and the surrounding area converge on a large, interested audience, many of whom will utilize to make their first-ever soccer ticketing purchase.”

Tickets for all 17 home games for RSL and Royals FC are already available for purchase.
