KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Jordan Giles scored 23 points, Broderick Robinson had 17 points and a season-high 11 rebounds and Missouri-Kansas City beat Utah Valley 77-70 on Saturday night.

UMKC (8-19, 3-7 Western Athletic Conference) has won two in a row since snapping its five-game skid. Utah Valley (17-8, 6-3), which beat UMKC by 36 points a month ago, has lost two of its last three games.

Giles was 9 of 18 from the floor and Robinson collected his second double-double of the season. Isaiah Ross made four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points.

Akolda Manyang scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead Utah Valley.

The Kangaroos had a 13-point lead with 11 minutes left. Jake Toolson made two 3-pointers during a 12-5 surge to pull the Wolverines to 66-61, but they didn't get closer.
